The Draycott Hotel is an Edwardian property comprising three interconnected red brick houses and located 50 metres from Sloane Square in Chelsea. The 35 guestrooms are named after theatrical grandees, including Coward, Sheridan and Ahscroft. All are grandly decorated in warm colors, with antique furniture, ornaments, prints on the walls and rich fabrics. Amenities include work desks with complimentary Internet connections, cable television, direct-dial phones and VCRs. The room rate includes complimentary tea and biscuits, glass of champagne and hot chocolate.
The Peter O'Toole Breakfast Room is adorned with masks of famous performers, such as Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, and framed programmes of plays hosted at the Royal Court Theatre on Sloane Square. Complimentary newspapers can be found in the lobby where there is also an attractive fireplace surrounded by deep armchairs.The conference room provides audiovisual equipment for business seminars and fitness enthusiasts have access to a nearby gymnasium. Parking is available nearby for a surcharge. The fossils and displays on show at the Natural History Museum and the collection of Victorian objets d'art in the V&A Museum, are both one kilometer away. Luxury goods of all descriptions can be discovered in the shops of Knightsbridge, particularly Sloane Street, only 200 metres away The nearest airport is London Heathrow Airport, a 45 minute drive and 16 miles away.The hotel can organize a chauffeur (fee) to collect guests at the airport. Alternatively the Heathrow Express train service to London's Paddington Station leaves every 15 minutes. Then the Underground connects to Sloane Square via the District or Circle Line. The hotel is 300 metres from the station.
