Paula and George: Restaurant Au Coin des Bons Enfants existed since 1949! We are proud that we, already 15 years, at home in the rich culinary history of the restaurant.To mark the anniversary is a published edition of Maastricht silhouette created by the Historical Foundation series Maastricht.This is the history of the area described, followed by a piece of culinary history Maastricht finishing with 'The Coin' over the years.The book "Around the Donkey Market" is also available in the restaurant. The total revenue is earmarked for the General Aid Foundation for Children. An initiative of family friend Ernest Weil urologist.
Without the private sphere of the Coin to lose, we have, over the years, step by step, taken to the Coin today, fresh and at the time! The love for the profession makes us tick. Indispensable and incomprehensible but it is our point. Cooks are often in the spotlight. The operation, however, is highly appreciated by us here. We are a close knit team with you as guest in the center. Good products are the basis of quality, in the kitchen and the cellar. We do not compromise on the quality, only the best stuff is good enough. Our idea is to products of the highest class purely on the table. We love honesty, in the glass and on the board.The term "no fake" dates from my childhood years. It is not in the dictionary but we always have to keep on!
